Alaska Cases

The GIVI Trekker Alaska range of aluminum cases offer the same materials, construction quality and finish of the top of the line Outback series, but at a much more interesting price point. The manufacturing process has been optimized and streamlined and, together with the adoption of the standard Monokey® mounting system, allowed GIVI to reduce the production cost and transfer those savings directly to the consumer.

The family includes two different top boxes, in 56 and 44 liter capacity, and a set of side cases with a capacity of 36 liters each. All cases come in two different finish options: brushed natural aluminum and powder coated black.

As always with GIVI cases, the Alaskas are water resistant, lockable and easily removable for the motorcycle thanks to our patented, single key operated Monokey® mounting system. The 56 liter top box is big enough to contain 2 full face helmets, while the new 44 liter is more compact, while still offering enough room to store one full face helmet. Both cases have integrated strap loops in the lids and can be fitted with the optional back-rest/pad.

The 36 liter side cases also use the widely available Monokey® system, and can lock onto PL, PLR, PLO and PLOR frames. The carry handles and strap loops are integrated in the lid, while a smart hook system allows for the cases to be temporarily tilted outwards: this way the lids can be opened even when the bike is mounting a large top case (that would otherwise interfere).

The release system, named WIRELEASE®, deploys a cable activated lock, that is completely contained inside the frame of the bottom shell, making it virtually maintenance-free. The two-cases set includes one extra lock to key-match an existing or future GIVI top box. It's also important to note that the supports at the bottom of both cases are replaceable and serviceable, thus extending significantly the life expectation of these rugged products.
